This homepage was created by me (Shizen no Shishi Nagamine) using the homepage production and management service called shopify.
Although the level of perfection is still low, we will study every day and improve it to increase customer satisfaction.
I will write about the process of building a website by groping with little knowledge of website creation.
Migrating from BASE to shopify
In 2020, we became independent from a leather goods manufacturing and sales store and opened an internet shop. I was able to easily open a shop using a service called BASE. The system of not having to pay monthly fees and collecting commissions from sales was very helpful for us, who were newly independent and had no money.
After about a year, I decided to move to shopify, which offers more flexibility.
As I was running the site, I wanted to adjust every detail of the website myself.
Strengthen your domain power!
Additionally, we have acquired our own domain (shizennoshirushi.com). This is because I realized that if you want to continue your shop for a long time, it is important for SEO to have your own domain from an early stage and strengthen your domain power. Of course, I plan to continue using it forever, so I acquired it.
By the way, you can install your own domain at Onamae.com for 1 yen. Since we don't have enough funds yet, it is imperative that we update the version in a way that costs as little as possible. If you don't have money, use your time and wisdom.
Be careful not to select unnecessary plans (server additions, etc.) on Onamae.com! I've wasted thousands of yen on this in the past. This seems to be a famous story, and if you google it, you'll find a lot of information about what to watch out for on Onamae.com.
You will be surprised at the high degree of freedom!
Shopify has a complete set of homepage templates, so all you have to do is enter the necessary information and products and open your store.
Of course, I set it to the free template Brooklyn. I was thinking of charging a fee if I needed it, but there's no need for that. A nice-looking HP will be completed. It can be operated intuitively, and anything you don't understand can be solved by googling it.
I think BASE can do it because they have HTML apps, but I feel like Shopify has been able to reach out to the more difficult areas. For an amateur. Also, I love the store analysis! It clearly shows how many people came and where they came from. This is great for beginners in online management.
You don't need to study programming. Continuation of the actual performance is the best.
In the past, I wanted to make routines more efficient (and easier) by programming things like SNS from my PC, so I tried using Python and was able to run them a little using Chrome.
That feeling came to life beautifully. The concept of Python and HTML is the same in that they instruct the PC in a language. If there was something I was concerned about, such as unnecessary buttons, line breaks, display methods, or links, I was able to google it and fix it through trial and error and undoing. It's not smart programming, but it's good enough. I think it suits me better than reading a poorly written and thick textbook. It doesn't cost much and I highly recommend it.
Future goals
Our goal for the store is to create a web shop that resembles a physical store, so we would like to create a store that allows us to see more of who we are as creators.
As I work, I'm thinking about how I can create a web shop that is just like a physical store, where if you have any concerns, you can ask a staff member.
Chat, bulletin board, production progress broadcast, mini-games for customers to enjoy?
I look forward to seeing what you can do. We aim to create a store that satisfies our customers and allows them to enjoy just window shopping.
