Noge, Yokohama's premier bar district
There are shops that specialize in fresh hoppy, shops that serve the best highballs, shops that are particular about their cuisine and shops with frank owners, bars with a Showa feel, shops that specialize in cuisine from various countries, and there is no place that doesn't have one. There are so many restaurants lined up that you can't go wrong.
I love food and alcohol, and when I lived in Yokohama, I often went exploring Noge with my seniors.
If you like alcohol or like bars, you probably know this!
Noge has a rule: ``Have one drink and then go home.''
It may be different depending on the generation or person, but that's what I was taught.
It may be an exaggeration to go home after one drink, but the bottom line is that there is a custom of ``don't stay too long at one store, and visit several stores in one day,'' and this custom is rooted throughout the region. .
For this reason, there are many shops that do not require appetizers or charges, which is kind to customers' wallets and increases the turnover rate of shops. It is a truly heart-filled world that is being cultivated.
I was able to enjoy going back and forth to various shops with different characteristics, and I had a wonderful bar life.
I was doing at least 4 bar hopping trips a day!
What is “Nogebero”?
One of my seniors, who I used to go to Noge with, is a big fan of Noge, so he calls himself ``Noge Bero'' and acts as a Noge guide (without permission).
