Made together by two leather artisans in Okinawa

Shizen no Shirushi is a leather-goods studio run by the two of us, a husband-and-wife team. We select, cut, stitch, assemble, finish, and inspect every item in our Okinawa workshop.

Designed for the way you use it every day

Compact size matters, but easy access to bills, cards, and coins matters just as much. The comet series grew from that idea: a small wallet with clearly separated compartments and an intuitive layout.

The individual character of genuine leather

We choose genuine leather intended to last. Wrinkles, vein patterns, small marks, and variations in tone are natural characteristics of each hide. When they do not affect durability, we preserve them as part of the material’s character. With use, the leather develops its own color and sheen.

Small-batch production with long-term support

Because each piece is made by two artisans, some items may temporarily sell out. Please order early for a gift or a specific date. If an item needs repair after years of use, send us photos and we will discuss what can be done.
